• Focus topics: Education and Business Digital SMEs
• BITMi presents a new concept for overcoming barriers to education
• New networking initiative as the competence center
The future of German IT SMEs is already being written today. In order not to lag behind the trends of globalization and digitization, but to shape them, we must now begin to implement promising measures. By far the most important topics for SMEs in the coming years will, therefore, be investments against the shortage of skilled workers and the promotion of digital business models.
At this year’s CEBIT, the Federal Association of IT-Mittelstand eV (BITMi) therefore turns its focus on education and business for medium-sized businesses during the trade fair week.
The TH Brandenburg (THB) has developed a study concept together with the BITMi, which is a strong solution against the shortage of skilled workersin the middle class. Together with Prof. Dr. med. Andreas Johannsen, Dean of Information Systems of the THB, will publish the study concept for IT specialists at the press conference . Other concepts of the BITMi against the shortage of skilled workers will also be announced at the press conference.
The promotion of digital business models in the IT sector can not succeed in the future without better networking. In addition to the BITMi, the Competence Center IT-Economy (KIW) presents its concept of a networked future in the IT sector. The KIW informs the medium-sized IT economy and promotes networking as well as the realization of cooperative business models, The core task of the competence center is the networking of medium-sized IT companies and their IT solutions. This creates new all-in-one solutions as a combination of small and medium-sized business software.
