More than 200 companies will exhibit for the first time at the 2018 NAB Show, the world’s largest convention encompassing the convergence of media, entertainment, and technology. These companies will offer the first look at new products and technologies through interactive exhibits and demonstrations. NAB Show is held April 7-12 (exhibits April 9-12) in Las Vegas.
The 244 first-time exhibitors will join a wide variety of exhibiting veterans on the nearly one million net square feet of space that make up the NAB Show exhibit floor. Examples of the debuting companies include Sohonet, Apalya Technologies Pvt., Qencode, Audinate, Backblaze, Densitron, LumaForge, Quantiphi, Inc, Red Bee Media, StreamShark, among others.
“Our new and returning exhibitors are the foundation of NAB Show,” said NAB Executive Vice President of Conventions and Business Operations Chris Brown. “Attendees come from all around the world to see firsthand these companies’ cutting-edge technologies and practical business solutions that continue to innovate how content is created, distributed and consumed.”
The 2018 NAB Show exhibition will comprise 1,700+ companies, including 819 international exhibitors and some of the world’s leading brands and companies, including Sony, Blackmagic, Canon, Nikon, Imagine, Panasonic, Cisco, Ericsson, Google, Facebook, IBM, Imagine, Grass Valley-A Belden Brand, Microsoft, Panasonic, AWS Elemental, Adobe, Avid and Sharp.
NAB Show will also feature new technology-focused areas of the show floor: the Podcasting Pavilion will house companies that provide tools necessary to create and commercialize audio content, and the Immersive Storytelling Pavilion will include companies involved with the development and monetization of virtual, mixed and augmented content.
