Los Angeles Chocolate Festival and Pastry Show, which will take place on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 3-6pm at the Omni Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. The event offers guests a luxurious way to sample an array of the world’s most decadent desserts. This year, the “Alice In Wonderland” themed-event will feature James Beard Award Winner and Chef of The Year Francois Payard, Chef Celestino Drago and Chef Juan Pablo Colubri.
James Beard Award Winner and Chef of The Year, Francois Payard is the creative visionary behind Payard Patisserie & Bistro, as well as Payard Bakery. Chef Payard comes from a renowned family of French pastry chefs and has dedicated his life to creating edible masterpieces worthy of his lineage.
Chef Celestino Drago has been touted as the foremost master of traditional Italian cuisine and is the creative force behind revered Southern California eateries Drago Bakery, Drago Centro and the elite Beverly Hills restaurant, ilPastaio. Rounding out the trio of headliners is Chef Juan Pablo Colubri, Executive Pastry Chef for the Hakkasan Group. Passionate and driven, Chef Colubri has demonstrated a natural mastery in the art of pastry, and has won the coveted title of Pastry Chef of The Year.
