It’s not by chance we selected the painting Tower of Babel by Pieter Bruegel the Elder to illustrate the interoperability concept. Construction of the Babel Tower stopped when God made the builders speak different languages, so that they could no longer communicate. That’s the very essence of interoperability and why it’s so important.
The Interoperability 2017 conference is a major forum for the discussion of innovations and recent advances in the design, implementation, experimentation, deployment, and usage of interoperable systems. The conference focus is interoperability between applications, cloud architectures and legacy platforms. The conference aims to facilitate the development of interoperable applications based on higher-level abstractions for better programmability, performance, scalability, security, and a variety of essential features.
